Ordering via the internet is a wonderful service but your system has to be able to process the orders. This also applies even if all the butcheries from supermarket giant C1000 order their assortment for the holiday season at the same time. This is what happened to meat supplier Hems when they landed a huge order in mid-2008. IT specialist ReflexSystems proved to be a lifesaver.
Midway through 2008, the international meat supplier Hems secured a dream of an order. All the C1000 butcheries ordered the exclusive range for the Christmas season at Hems. Initially, manager Robert van Grinsven wanted to use Hems' own order site. "It quickly became apparent just how many orders per day it involved. These order lines also had to be placed in our system. It was then time to have a chat with our IT partner ReflexSystems."
The internationally operating company ReflexSystems installed the Internet Order module, one of the more than eighty options from the Reflex 3000 management and tracking system. The orders automatically enter the company, which saves a considerable amount of man-hours. In addition, ReflexSystems guarantees that the server works perfectly including a backup.
"This logistic solution means a lot less worry for us", reports Robert van Grinsven. "Internet Order has proved its added value to both us as well as our customers."
